Fun Fact: In 1929 St. Clement's was in danger of being destroyed due to the widening of 20th Street. “Rather than demolish the Church, the Saint Clement's vestry acquired two properties to the west, raised the 5,500-ton church onto rails, and pushed it back forty feet onto new foundations.”
